The goal for this textbook is to provide a comprehensive reference manual for English pronunciation. It is hoped that this textbook achieves that goal. The textbook you have in your hand would not be possible without the help of several individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My appreciation goes to my students at the Faculty of Arts who initially inspried me to embark on the task of writing this textbook in 2007. Subsequent classes of the students have contributed to this textbook through their questions which have resulted in improvements to this textbook over the years.
